Faculty & Staff Appreciation Week is March 23-27, 2026!

All full-time and part-time faculty and staff at 宅男福利 are eligible to participate in Faculty & Staff Appreciation Week. Please see the complete schedule below.

2026 Schedule

All Week:

  • FREE admission to the Student Recreation Center
  • $5 on your 1Card to enjoy one item from Starbucks or Einsteins
  • One FREE meal at Palms Dining
  • Discounts at several local businesses (see list below)

Meditation Monday: A yoga class will be held at noon at the Student Recreation Center. Yoga mats will be provided, but please bring your own water. We are also giving away two $50 gift cards for a relaxing trip to a local spa.

Take a Photo Tuesday: Blaze is ready to take photos with our faculty and staff. So, get your whole office together or your work bestie and get ready to say CHEESE. Also, 宅男福利’s photographer will offer free professional head shots for those looking for a new photo. You need to sign up for photos with Blaze and your headshots, so please see below. We will also have some surprise giveaways on this day.

  • Photos with Blaze: 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the UC, Main Campus, and North Campus. Sign up .

  • Professional Headshots: 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. & 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. at the University Marketing and Communications Photo Studio (located at the northwest entrance to the Breezeway at the UC). Sign up . 

WOW Wednesday: We will be making a BIG announcement for all 宅男福利 faculty and staff! Also, we will be giving away four center ice tickets to a Jacksonville Icemen hockey game, good for (almost) any date during the 26-27 season.

Trivia Thursday: Get ready to test your knowledge and win prizes during our three Trivia Thursday sessions! You can compete with teams of 1-2 people, and attend as many trivia sessions as you like. Be sure to sign up at the link below. We will also be giving away a foursome golf certificate for Stone Creek Golf Club to a random drawing winner. (trivia rules below)

  • 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. Trivia at UC Cypress Room
  • 1 p.m. – 2 p.m. Trivia at Odum Library Auditorium 1st floor

Fabulous Friday: Get ready for a day of giveaways! We will be giving away nine prizes in nine hours! You will want to keep a close eye on your email to see if you’ve won! Also, Blazer Athletics is hosting a men's and women's tennis match on this day at 2 p.m. The first 100 faculty & staff who come out to support our student-athletes will receive a free KFC sandwich.

Rules for Trivia

  • All teams consist of 1 or 2 people
  • No phones/cheating
  • No announcing answers out loud
  • Final answers are collected after each round (5 rounds total)
  • Final questions can be wagered 0-20 points
  • Each question is worth 1 point
  • Prizes will be handed out to the first place team. There may be some other prizes handed out too.
