Microsoft Teams Phone is a secure, encrypted cloud-based calling solution that integrates with our existing Teams application. In addition to making normal Teams to Teams calls, now with advanced calling features, you can:

  • Call and receive landline and mobile phone calls. 
  • Dial using a simple dial pad or Search for contacts by name. 
  • Access voicemail from Teams, email, or Teams desk phone; and Customize your greeting.
  • Transfer calls, place them on hold, or even switch mid-call between devices.
  • And much more!

Talk Your Way 

  • Use the Teams application on your office computer and use your device's speaker and microphone or use your personal headphones (if compatible) or a Õ¬Äи£Àû-issued headset, if requested
  • Use a Teams-certified desk phone, if requested
  • Use your smartphone, laptop, or tablet that has internet access and the Teams app installed

Optional Phone Hardware

Although you don't need a physical phone to use the Teams Phone system, departments can elect to use one of the following:

  •  (Mono/Stereo) -OR-
  •  for Faculty/Staff 
  •  for Student Employees (if needed)

Set up a PIN on a Teams Desk Phone (faculty/staff c455HD model):
Tap your profile image Menu icon and then Settings>Device settings>Security>Screen Lock PIN> key PIN number
To unlock phone phone, enter your PIN
Lock your computer by using these keyboard shortcuts:On a Windows computer, press Microsoft Logo key + L
On Mac computer, press Control + Command + Q
