HERO Olympics To Be Held Saturday, April 27

VALDOSTA - The Valdosta State University Chapter of Hearts Everywhere Reaching Out (HERO) for Children will host the HERO Olympics on from 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, April 27, in the University Center's Magnolia Rooms 1 and 2.

“There will be various activities to get children in the community involved in physical fitness,” said Erika McCoy, HERO president. “It is the first of its kind at Õ¬Äи£Àû so we are striving for it to be a big success.”

The event will feature some of the most popular field day activities, including tug of war, the 50-yard dash and many others. There will be food, games, music and arts and crafts.

All active student organizations are invited to attend. The HERO Olympics is open to all Õ¬Äи£Àû students, faculty and staff, as well as children in the local community.
